Site published and operated under the name Univers Smart Télescopes (UST), by Gus.
This site has a commercial activity: the devices it compares are offered for sale by its publisher, who earns an income from them.
Mandatory particulars for a publisher selling at a distance, to be completed before the site opens to the public: company name and legal form, amount of share capital, registered office address, trade and companies register number, intra-Community VAT number, name of the publication director and telephone number. As long as they are missing, this site stays in pre-production and takes no orders.
Sale
The devices presented on this site are offered for sale by its publisher. No order is concluded online: there is no basket and no payment on this site. The contact form opens a conversation, and the sale is then concluded on an accepted quotation.
The specifications and the prices shown on the product entries are market data recorded in 2026 from the sources cited at the foot of each entry. They are not selling prices and they do not constitute an offer. Price, availability, delivery time, warranty and shipping costs appear on the quotation.
A sale concluded at a distance on an accepted quotation is a distance contract. Still to be drafted and published before the first order: the general terms and conditions of sale, the fourteen day right of withdrawal and its model form, the pre-contractual information (essential characteristics, total price, delivery time, payment arrangements), the legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects, the name and contact details of the consumer mediator, and the WEEE notice on electrical and electronic equipment.
Hosting
Name, company name and address of the host to be completed before the site goes public.
Intellectual property
The astrophotographs published on this site are the work of its author and are not royalty free. Any reproduction, even in part, requires prior written permission.
The brands Unistellar, Vaonis, DwarfLab, ZWO et Celestron, and the names of their products, belong to their respective owners. This site is not affiliated with any of them.
Liability
The technical specifications and the prices given are recorded in 2026 from the sources cited at the foot of each product entry, and may have changed. Before ordering, ask us about the specification that matters to you: we would rather answer than let an entry decide in our place.
An error, a figure out of date? Report it: the correction will be applied and dated.
Content published by members
The forum on this site carries content published by third parties: topics, posts, and small listings between private owners in the Buying / Selling space. For that content, the publisher is a host and not a seller: it does not write it, does not check it one by one, is party to none of the sales listed there, and has no general obligation to monitor what is published there.
It does, on the other hand, have an obligation to act promptly to remove manifestly unlawful content as soon as it becomes aware of it. That is what the report link placed under every post and the notification procedure described below are for.
Do not confuse the two offers on this site: the devices in the catalogue are offered for sale by the publisher, with an invoice and a warranty; the listings on the forum are not. The disclaimer for the Buying / Selling space says what that implies, and what that space forbids.
The data that makes it possible to identify the author of published content, namely the IP address, the browser and the timestamp, is kept for twelve months and handed over to the judicial authority that requires it. It is displayed nowhere. What the site does with your data.
Name of the moderator, address at which to reach them and the response time announced: to be completed before the forum opens. As long as no moderator is appointed and reachable, the forum stays closed to sign-ups.
Notifying unlawful content
The quickest way is the Report link under every forum post: it takes the post and its address straight to the moderation page. For a formal notification, write to contact@univers-smart-telescope.fr stating:
- your surname, first name and home address; for a legal entity, its name and registered office;
- the exact address of the page, and that of the post concerned if it differs;
- a description of the content and the reason why it should be removed;
- a copy of the approach made to the author to obtain its removal, or the reason why that could not be done.
A notification is examined as soon as it arrives. Manifestly unlawful content is removed without delay, and the action is dated in the moderation log.
Presenting content as unlawful in the knowledge that this information is inaccurate is a criminal offence. Notification is there to get unlawful content removed, not content that displeases.
